Introducing the Graph PowerShell Cmdlet Explorer Widget – Quick Access to Working Cmdlet Examples

Managing Microsoft 365 with Graph PowerShell often requires finding the right cmdlet and a working example that actually does what you need. However, digging through extensive documentation or outdated blog posts just to locate a simple usage example can be frustrating.

To simplify this, we’re excited to introduce the Graph PowerShell Cmdlet Explorer Widget – a quick-access tool that allows M365 admins to instantly retrieve cmdlet usage examples either by selecting the cmdlet from a dropdown or using a search box.

What This Widget Offers

At present, the Graph PowerShell Cmdlet Explorer Widget is available on select pages:

  1. ✅Instant Access to Usage Examples - No need to scroll through long documentation pages. Just click a button or search for a cmdlet, and you get a working example.
  2. ✅Accurate & Up-to-Date - These cmdlet examples are actively maintained and are based on the latest Microsoft Graph PowerShell module.
  3. ✅ Practical & Ready-to-Use - The provided examples are real-world commands. With minimal customization (like replacing placeholders with your tenant details), you can copy, paste, and run them immediately.
  4. ✅ Currently Covers 20 Key Cmdlets - The widget currently supports 20 fundamental Graph PowerShell cmdlets, and work is underway to include all the essential Graph cmdlets over time.
